Baraboo, WI (Wisconsin Dells Area)

Day Highlights

• Slept late (8:00 am)
• 11:00 walked to lobby and got ticket for 12:30 tour of Wisconsin Duck
• Back to room to eat lunch
• 12:30 - Wisconsin Duck tour. Great! 8.5 miles 1/2 Land and 1/2 water including Wisconsin River and Lake Delton. They pointed out the area where the lake drained into the river last year washing away 5 homes in the process. It was great weather! I did buy the souveneir book with the 11 postcards.
  
• Sat on balcony and wrote up postcards
• Decided to do long walk to mail postcards - walked down by Fields the Monks then up to lobby and mailed post cards.
• Walked into courtyard but walked counter clockwise to entrance 2 - crossed into lot and found beginning of hiking trail. I walked a little into the trail, but the dark clouds overhead spooked me so I walked back to unit. Turns out I would have been ok...I had a good day anyway!
