Stephen's 2009 Trip

Day 03 - 7/29/2009

Woke up at 5 am, 1 hour before alarm...cursed...went back to bed and got up at 6am
Breakfast in room (my food)
Checked out 8:00 am
Entrance to 90W was closed due to construction...cursed...took detour
eventually made it to 90W
From a distance saw Sear's Tower
Got to Hotel in Dubuque, IA around 4:15 CST (feels like 5:15 EST to me)
Called Mom, unloaded car, changed, headed to Star restaurant for dinner.

Sat on deck which overlooks Mississippi
Had Salad, 1 large well seasond pork chop, garlic mashed potatoes
After eating went for walk along waterfront - sat on bench and called mom again
Back to room...a great day!
